বিদায় NTT

 

আজ সকালে অফিসের দরজা পেরোতেই মনে হলো, বিশাল এক অধ্যায় শেষ হয়ে যাচ্ছে। NTT–কে আজ বিদায় বলেছি। কথাটা শুনতে সোজা, কিন্তু বুকের ভেতর কেমন টান লাগে। জায়গাটা শুধু অফিস ছিল না, যেন টোকিও শহরের মাঝখানে আমার একটা আপন ঘর; যেখানে আমি ধীরে ধীরে বদলেছি, শিখেছি, বড় হয়েছি, আর মানুষের ভিড়ে মানুষকেই চিনেছি।

এতদিনে অনেকে আমাকে জিজ্ঞেস করেছে, আমি আসলে কী কাজ করি। আমি তখন হেসে বলতাম, ‘সমুদ্রের তলায় দড়ি আছে, সেই দড়িটা যেন না ছিঁড়ে যায় সেটা দেখি।’ শুনলে সবাই ভাবে মজা করছি। আসলে ঠিকটাই; আমরা সমুদ্রের নিচের সাবমেরিন কেবল লাইনগুলো পাহারা দিতাম। সেই কেবল দিয়ে ইন্টারনেট দৌড়ায় দেশ থেকে দেশে, মানুষ ভিডিও কল করে, রাত জেগে ড্রামা দেখে, ব্যবসা সামলায় বা ইন্টারেনেট যে যেই কাজেই ব্যবহার করুন না । আমরা নীরবে দেখে যেতাম সব ঠিকঠাক চলছে কিনা। কেউ আমাদের নাম জানত না, চেহারা দেখত না, কিন্তু আমাদের হাত দিয়ে প্রতিদিন লক্ষ মানুষ একটু সুবিধা পেত। এটা খুবই রহস্যময় অথচ খুবই সরল মানের জটিল-কঠিন এবং সাধাসিধে এক কাজ।

জাপানে NTT コミュニケーションズ - 企業向け মানে বিশাল এক পাহাড়ের মতো প্রতিষ্ঠান। সেই পাহাড়ের একটা ছোট পাথরও হতে পেরে আমি গর্বিত। তাই আজকের বিদায়টাও কেমন জানি খচখচে। এত হাসি, এত দৌড়াদৌড়ি, এমনকি রাত জাগা ক্লান্তি, সব মিলিয়ে এখানে একটা পরিবারই বানিয়ে ফেলেছিলাম। আজ মনে হচ্ছে, সেই পরিবারটাকেই একটু পিছনে ফেলে হাঁটা শুরু করলাম।

এখন নতুন পথ। সামনের পথে কী আছে জানি না, তবে বুক ভরা অভিজ্ঞতা আর মাথা ভরা দোয়া নিয়ে হাঁটছি। কৃতজ্ঞতা আছে, একটু চোয়াল শক্ত করা আবেগ আছে, আর আছে আশা; আল্লাহ ভালো কিছুই সামনে রাখবেন, ইনশাহআল্লাহ। দোয়া প্রার্থী। 

আর হ্যাঁ, NTT docomo Business–তে যাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব হয়েছে, তারা তো থাকবেই। মানুষ বদলায়, ঠিকই। কিন্তু কিছু সম্পর্ক থাকে, গল্পের পাতার মতো, চাইলেও বদলানো যায় না।

Today I closed an important chapter of my life as I said goodbye to NTT. This company was not just a workplace for me, it truly became my second home. I spent many years here, learned so many things, grew as a person, and met amazing people who supported me and shaped me into who I am today. I am grateful for every moment, every lesson, and every smile I shared with my team.

Many people ask what my work was about, and the truth is, it sounds simple but it carried a big responsibility. I worked with the team that watched over the undersea cables that connect countries through the internet. These cables carry almost all the international communication people use every day. Because of this work, families can talk across borders, students can study online, businesses can run smoothly, and people can stay connected to the world. Our team worked day and night to make sure everything stayed safe and stable. Even though no one sees our faces, our work quietly touched millions of lives.

NTT is a big name in Japan and plays a huge role in the communication system of this country. I always felt proud to be a small part of such an important mission. Leaving this place is not easy. The memories, the friendships, the hard times and happy moments, everything will stay in my heart. I will miss my teammates who stood beside me like family.

As I move to the next chapter of my journey, I carry with me all the lessons and blessings I received here. I am thankful, emotional, hopeful, and I pray that Allah guides me to do better in the future. Please keep me in your prayers as I continue forward, and I hope the bonds I made here will stay with me always.
